Reasonable sharing, commentary, criticism, editorial reference, and linking are welcome.
Cadrelle is an art puzzle, interpretation, and visual-learning app.
You may use the app for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app store rules.
You may not:
Cadrelle may offer paid memberships, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or other paid access.
A membership gives you access to the Cadrelle features, collection areas, programmes, and experiences included in your selected plan for the duration of that membership, subject to these Terms.
Features may include, depending on the version and plan:
The exact features, pricing, billing period, trial availability, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be shown at the point of purchase.
If you purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing is handled by that platform.
Your subscription may automatically renew unless canceled through the applicable platform before the renewal date, according to that platform’s rules.
Cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app does not necessarily cancel a subscription.
Refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google are handled by the applicable platform and are subject to that platform’s policies. We do not separately provide pro-rated refunds for platform subscriptions unless required by law or expressly stated by us.
We may add, change, remove, replace, or reorganize app features, artworks, notes, exhibitions, series, or other content over time.
We will try to avoid changes that materially reduce the core value of an active paid membership. However, we do not guarantee that every artwork, feature, exhibition, or programme will remain available permanently.
The underlying artworks featured in Cadrelle are intended to be public-domain works.
Cadrelle uses public-domain, open-access, licensed, or otherwise permitted reproductions made available by museums, cultural institutions, archives, and other sources. Credits are provided where appropriate in the app, on the website, or in related materials.
We do not claim ownership of the underlying public-domain artworks.
Museum and institution names may appear for identification, credit, scholarship, or source-reference purposes.
Unless expressly stated, no museum, archive, cultural institution, artist estate, or rights holder sponsors, endorses, approves, or is affiliated with Cadrelle.
Curator’s notes, exhibition framing, quiz prompts, room descriptions, artwork descriptions, educational text, interface text, and other editorial writing created for Cadrelle are owned by Sfumato Studios LLC or its licensors.
You may quote short passages for reasonable critical, educational, journalistic, or review purposes with attribution.
You may not republish, copy, scrape, compile, sell, or redistribute substantial portions of Cadrelle’s editorial text without written permission.
The Cadrelle name, wordmark, source code, interface, visual system, product design, interaction design, collection structure, and original presentation are owned by Sfumato Studios LLC or its licensors.
No rights are granted except the limited right to use Cadrelle according to these Terms.
Cadrelle may allow you to contact us, join a launch list, submit support requests, or send feedback.
If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, corrections, or comments, you give us permission to use them without restriction or compensation, including to improve Cadrelle, correct content, develop features, or refine the product.
You are responsible for making sure anything you submit is lawful and does not violate the rights of others.
Do not send confidential, proprietary, sensitive, or personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
